Ajay Devgan's first film "Phool Aur Kaante". He take position in bollywood by this film. Then he was very well in that type of consecutive films. The trend in his career changed with "Ishq", a soft romantic comedy where he was paired opposite Kajol. After few years later he married Kajol. Ajay Devgan is one of the most sincere and intense actor of the Bollywood film industry. He was born on 2nd April to the famous action man Veeru Devgan. The moment his son was born Veeru Devgan knew that his son will be a famous actor one day. Ajay too left no stone unturned in proving his father right.

Ajay Devgan made his entry in the Bollywood with his blockbuster hit "Phool Aur kaante" where he dared to ride two motor cycles. The film that brought true success to Ajay was Mahesh Bhatt's 'Zakhm'. Ajay had to play the part of a man who gets caught in Bombay's communal crossfire when his mother is killed by a rioting mob. He followed this up with an equally powerful performance in 'Kachche Dhaage' (1999).
And then came the crowning glory of his successful foray into the sensible end of commercial cinema: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. He continued his success journey with more movies in line like Dil Kya Kare, Raju Chacha which though bombed at the box office yetcreated a name for Ajay Devgan.

On a personal note Ajay Devgan married his girl friend Kajol. He also got got two National Awards for his two films Zakhm and The Legend Of Bhagat Singh.
