Indications :
Bakuchi or Psoralea corylifolia is an
Ayurvedic herb that belongs to
Papilionaceae family. It is grown
throughout the plains of central and
east India. The plant has aromatic,
antibacterial, anti fungal, laxative,
stimulant and aphrodisiac qualities.
This herb has been
considered by Ayurveda doctors to be
so effective in the treatment of
leprosy that it was given the name of
'Kushtanashini' (leprosy destroyers).The other uses are for
Mathura tikta rasam, katu-vipakam,
seetha veeryam, kapha-haram, rasayanam,
ruksham, hrithyam, in meham, kushtam,
jwaram, krimi, rakta-pittam. |
