Nigella sativa or
kalajeera is an annual flowering plant used
widely in India and other Asian countries. It
is also known as black cumin,
love-in-the-mist, or kalonji.
According to Ayurveda it is a Kriminashak
Vermifuge, Deepana Appetiser, Pachana digester
of toxins, Medhya intellect enhancer and
Chakshushya Beneficial for the eyes. The
little black seeds of plant are highly
effective as an appetizer. It helps relieving
gastric distention, improving digestion and
act as anti -
