Garnet is also found in a few African countries like Kenya, Tanzania and Namibia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. There are also some sources of Garnet in Europe. Some of the deposits are located in Bayern, a state in south of Germany. There are also notable garnet deposits in Spain and Czechoslovakia.
