Two naturally connected Rudraksha beadas are known as Gauri
Shankar Rudraksha. These naturally coupled beads are regarded as
the Unified form of Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati.
This form becomes the cause of expansion of the universe
providing fertility. It makes the husband and wife identify each
other. Hence it is regarded the best thing for peace and comfort
in the family. This rudraksha is the most preferred as gift as
ancient texts mention that gifting rudraksha accrues punya
(good karma).
It is believed that if a man worships Gauri Shankar rudraksha at
his worship place, all his grieves, sufferings and other earthly
obstacles are removed and the peace and pleasure of family are
increased. In Puranas (the ancient religious texts of Hindus),
the bead of Gauri Shankar is regarded the best for happy family
life. The Padma Puraana mentioned that a man acquire a lakhfold
merit by seeing a Rudraksh bead, a crorefold merit by touching
it and ten crores of merit by wearing it on his body. Even if a
man who does not engage himself in meditation holds a Gauri
Shanker Rudraksh on his body, he becomes free from all sins, and
obtains the highest position. It is also belived that if a
sannyasi (saint) wears a garland or Kantha of 32 beads of
Gauri Shankar, he becomes Lord Shiva incarnate. When any
recommendation is in need of a synergistic enhancement to
accelerate the effects of the Mala design, Gauri Shankar is
recommended and is added directly on the back of the neck over
the spine where the Kundalini flows. |
